I studied this wonderful text with my father, who studied it with his father. The text has six parts in all: three each at primary and secondary levels. Here is a translation of all the examples and grammatical rules from Part 1 of the primary section. It may be of use to teachers and students of basic Arabic grammar.

Salam bro Usama,
Masha’Allah, I have been looking for a translation of this text for a long time. Are the next parts also going to be translated in the future?
Greetings,
Harun

Assalaamu ‘Alaykum wa Ra’hmatullaah,

ws wr wb wm. Thank you. I attempted the other parts, but gave up. They are almost untranslatable. Far easier to learn the basics, then read the other parts in Arabic. The morphology won’t make much sense in another language.

May Allaah reward you for all your efforts, Aameen. Yesterday I completed the ‘re-translation’ of the book into Dutch. I’m also going to translate the other two parts in-shaa’-Allaah (at least, I’m going to attempt). This with our teacher as a second reviser since my Arabic isn’t all that. We intend to use it at our ma3had in-shaa’-Allaah.

Books 2&3 get very technical and difficult to translate: the best way to study them is in Arabic itself, with the help of Book 1 and a good teacher if possible.

Barakallahu fik. The next part is more technical and difficult to translate. I recommend studying it with a good Arabic teacher. Once you’ve studied the first part with/without a teacher and/or the translation provided above, it should be easier to study subsequent parts with a good Arabic teacher. Allah be with you and bless your studies!
